Is it compatible with laptops that only have USB-C 3.1?

Regardless of your version of USB-C port or USB-A port, the LIMINK S500 Tri-screen only requires one cable connection. Compatible with all chips of Windows and Macbook, including M1 M2 chips, it is currently the most widely compatible portable triple monitor on the market.

How to set up a triple display expansion mode for my laptop?

Please set up a three screen display based on your laptop system according to the video teaching.

How do I install drivers for my HP hevy x360 laptop?

Before use, you need to insert the S500 tri screen card reader into your laptop to install the driver program. Follow the demonstration video of the card reader's driver software to install it.

How many ports the monitors have? can i connect hard drives or phones or any device to these ports an work properly? how many pounds are the monitors?

There are 2 USB-C ports on the back of the monitor, which cannot support connecting to other electronic devices. Only additional power adapters are supported. The monitor weighs 3 pounds.

Can I use it on my old laptop? It has two USB-A3.0

Only one USB A3.0 or any version of USB-C can support the use of S500 screen extender.

How many cables do you need to carry for connection when going out for use?

Unlike traditional portable triple screens, the S500 portable triple screen only requires one cable to complete all connections.

Is there an additional laptop carrying bag included in the packaging?

LIMINK S500 portable triple screen comes with a storage bag for each product. If you need more bags, you can find them in our store and purchase them together.

How to obtain longer battery life during use?

You can connect an additional power adapter to the S500 triple screen to charge the laptop for longer battery life.

Can I use it for my Macbook pro M1?

All chips supporting the MACBOOK series, including M1 M2, but please confirm if the laptop size is suitable before purchasing.

Does Two monitors slow down the laptop?

No, unless you are performing intensive graphical processes (gaming, streaming, video processing) on more than one monitor at a time.

Screens are different brightness, one screen won't come out of screensaver, support doesn't respond.

One of the screens at max brightness is only 60% brightness on the other, even on external power. After letting the system go to screensaver, and coming back after a couple hours, one of the screens is frozen; and to correct this requires power-cycling the monitors. I contacted the manufacturer support through their website as recommended by amazon, but they never responded. Guess I have to return it as "defective"...

Color balance not adjustable, mouse response poor

There does not appear to be any way to adjust the color balance (overly blue - but not because of night mode. There's no on screen display adjustments and Windows 11 doesn't seem to support color or gamma calibration of a video signal over USB.I will probably be returning these because of this shortcoming.

Ok Option

This screen is incredibly light, which makes it a good option for working from somewhere else. If you have a set up at home, this would not be preferable. I also think if you are going to have a setup at home you could easily purchase 2 external monitors for the price of this - and you would have larger screens.I found the set up ok. It took a little working with the cables to get everything going, and it did need to be plugged into the wall to get power to use the screens. I found the "foot" that helped level things sticking out of the back hard to get at the right angle and if I changed the angle of my screen it would change what I needed there. I didn't find the top and sides held on completely to my laptop, although since I wouldn't be moving or touching them once set I'm not sure that would be a problem.What is very nice about this set up is that it is very light if you want to work somewhere else or are traveling. If you are used to using multiple screens for things, excel on 1 and PPT on the other, etc. then this allows you to continue to do that. In essence you are getting 2 additional laptop screens by adding this device on. It was easy to set up the display if you are used to using that set up with monitors/projectors.Personally, I've seen some travel monitors which are slightly larger than this and I think would work better for travel.

Decent for add screen room but if you just need a larger monitor this won't help much

It takes a small bit to set up right. Once its set up I will say it works well if you want extra screens so you can have multiple apps pulled up at once if perhaps your working from a laptop and don't have the screen space. However, if your goal is to just your desk top, icons, letters, etc... visible larger for image/viewing reasons I don't really think this will help.Not a bad device for giving extra space for applications and all but not great if your having vision issues and just need a bigger monitor.

really nice for a secondary setup

For context, I've only been using this product for about a week on a 15in Dell Latitude laptop. The laptop has a dedicated power source and so does its dock. I have been using a keyboard and mouse through the dock, so no extra wiggles interfacing directly with the laptop. I'm using the single USB C cable connected to a high-quality dock and it has worked flawlessly, including increasing the screen brightness all the way up on both screens. I did try the screens connected to the laptop, which also worked fine, but I'm glad I can run it through the dock so I don't lose my other peripherals.It was a bit fiddly to get it arranged properly the first time but since then, it has been a set-it-and-forget-it experience. I haven't had to fight with the angle of the screen slowly changing over time or the kickstand. I could easily imagine these being a little more fiddly if you were typing directly on the laptop and/or using the trackpad a lot. I'm not sure that I would make it a habit of transporting these a lot; with that said, the protective sleeve is a nice touch and they are made from a lightweight (almost feels cheap) plastic. The box that it came in was a very nice box.For general productivity work, which is pretty much the only thing I've used them for this past week, they have worked flawlessly and never once got in my way or caused me to question what I was looking at. They just worked. I prefer to work in a reasonably dim environment with dark mode on everything and these screens did not disappoint. The fact that there are 16:10 is just glorious. I'm really not a fan of the extra, extra, extra huge bezel between my screens, especially on the right side, but I understand mechanically why it is there. Hopefully, they will continue to function for a good long while!With all of that said, you have to REALLY want these or REALLY need the portability for the price.
